RonaPalooza

After missing Pentucket’s official graduation due to illness, Ronan Culbert expected a simple diploma pickup—what he got instead was a heartfelt surprise: his very own graduation ceremony. Orchestrated by classmates Adam Hannula and Chaney Goldstein, the event transformed from a small gesture into a full celebration, complete with live music, a chorus performance, and a packed auditorium.

With support from Principal Brenda Erhardt and the school community, Ronan walked across the stage to “Pomp and Circumstance,” beaming with shock and joy. The ceremony gave him the moment he missed, surrounded by friends, family, and faculty.

“It just says a lot,” Ronan shared, reflecting on the creativity and care behind the event. His mother, Tina Culbert, echoed the emotion, moved by the support her son received: “To see his face… it means the world.”

Ronan, a former member of the school newspaper, will attend Bridgewater State University in the fall to study communications.
