Approved Biographies
Music
Chaney Goldstein is an accomplished alto saxophonist and jazz musician from Massachusetts. He began his musical journey with piano at the age of seven and later transitioned to saxophone by the age of nine, where he quickly excelled. By his sophomore year of high school, Chaney had earned a spot in his school’s elite jazz combo, performing regularly and competing throughout the year. His commitment and skill led him to become the lead musician in the group by his senior year.
Chaney’s skill on the saxophone has been recognized at both district and state levels. He successfully auditioned for and secured positions in top high school jazz ensembles across Massachusetts, including the MMEA All-State Jazz Band and the Northeastern Senior District Jazz Band. His performances have also earned him distinguished awards at notable events such as the Festival Disney music conference held at Walt Disney World.
Chaney’s musical development has been shaped by his studies with notable saxophonists. He previously studied with David Schumacher and is currently studying under Michael Monaghan.
Technology
Chaney Goldstein is a passionate technology enthusiast, content creator, and self-described tinkerer known for combining hands-on engineering with accessible tech education. He is the creator and host of Chaney’s Tech Talk, a podcast that explores emerging technologies, consumer electronics, and DIY innovation. The show features interviews, product reviews, and deep dives into topics ranging from smart home devices to privacy tools.

Chaney is a student at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts, where he is pursuing a double major in Computer Science and Music and participates in the Jazz Ensembles and Goodtime Marching Band. He graduated from Pentucket Regional High School in 2024, where he was actively involved in the music program, participating in ensembles such as the Concert Band and Pep Band.
